Austin Warren completed his Registered Massage Therapist training at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2018. During his education, Austin enjoyed working at several outreach facilities in the Vancouver community, gaining invaluable experience at working with a wide variety of patients and conditions, including: seniors in living facilities, university athletes, survivors of addiction and abuse, persons living with neurological and congenital conditions, and persons living with HIV. After graduating with honors, he was recruited as an athletic trainer at St. George’s Senior School, where he assessed and treated acute-onset injuries during the private school’s games and practices. He then joined the exceptional team at the Davie Village RMT Clinic in the Westend of Vancouver, where he practiced for nearly 3 years before opening up his first independent clinic in Gastown.
Austin has explored manual lymphatic drainage and craniosacral therapy in introductory courses and is eager to continue advancing his repertoire of manual techniques in his continuing education. Austin’s enthusiasm for health and wellness motivates him to remain current in medical advancements and inspires him to perhaps pursue a future career in osteopathy or medicine.
Austin is highly trained to treat a wide variety of conditions and pathologies. From musculoskeletal conditions such as strains or sprains to systemic conditions like pregnancy or fibromyalgia, he can use manual therapy to rehabilitate traumatic injuries, provide symptom relief, and aid your return to functional activities of daily life.
Before pursuing massage therapy, Austin went to the music school at the University of Victoria to seek a career in vocal performance, piano accompaniment, and music education. He maintains his passion for music by actively participating in a large community chorus and giving music lessons to interested friends.
